                                                                  slingshot that over the fence and just keep a slight pressure outward on your breathing pressure in your nose. you'll get the feel for it. if you're swimming laps you'll want to breath without a snorkel anyway.

                                                                  diving with a snorkel, always blow out your nose a bit as you dive.
