We use css or html... I am interested in morphing feeds for our blogs & connect to our galleries. -
we have an old cms that works ok, and run alot of the sites but recently picked up Elevated X and my god, where was this years ago, fantastic...i have so many more benefits and things i can do with Elevated X that makes my job easier
from one .MOV file (what i chose to use), i run my updates in multiple formats, i also make the tube clips for my affiliates, gallery videos for FLV min long galleries...and being able to load it up and let it go nonstop for days gets me ahead of work...just tip of the iceberg that it can do
and thats simply just from a managers pov....tracking, rotating banners & links...it really is a hell of a CMS...and there are still areas i havent messed with, some things i wanted to try just to see what it did
ok, i sound like a spokesperson for Elevated X....nope, just a very satisfied userComment

From just reading GFY I've always heard good things about ElevatedX, of course I would make something better if I had to (lol), but until then it sounds like they're the way to go.Comment

As regarding my question. Of course I'm asking about 3rd-party solutions but not home-brews.Obey the CowgodComment

i just took a look at the admin functions and features of Elevated-X a few days ago - it's impressive but also pretty complicated. i'll take a guided tour soon. for programs running many paysites with a lot of video content it looks like a great solution. for smaller sites, solo girl sites in my case, i think it might be overkill. it's not cheap, 150/month for the basic CMS, plugins for transcoding video, mobile etc are an extra 50 per month - i can't imagine leasing it and not using the transcoding plugin - so it's 2400 dollars a year. The integration with tour and members area designs I've heard isn't simple, so you're going to pay one of the designers who have experience with Elevated-X integrations for that.
They could use a good video presentation or two for the product - one a general overview of how it works and the features. And another walking you through setting up a paysite and adding the content, creating galleries, preview content, transcoding videos etc etc
Maybe they have them and I missed them.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

The initial reaction a lot of people have is that it's complex which is due to how many features we've added to it over the past 5 years. The CMS is due for an admin redesign which we've almost completed.
When you take a guided walkthrough you'll be surprised at how simple the CMS is to use.
The template code itself is HTML split into Smarty templates. Tweaking the default designs is certainly not as complicated as many make it out to be but does require some familiarization and patience as there's a learning curve.
We're working on a scaled down interface and will be adding step by step videos. In the meantime customers have to rely on our text based step by step guides. You can also ask us for help which we're always happy to provide for any how-to type of questions. Stay tuned
