Nubiles Tube Script customization
Ok, almost everyone here knows about popular and freeware Nubiles Tube script, which is a very good thing for a freeware product. However there are two serious issues:
1) the script has not enough built-in methods of customization;
2) it is encrypted.
(1) + (2) = serious problem for those who want to hardly customize it. E.g. alter the layout of every page (for example, add some widgets/banners to the sidebar of the player page, add "users online" counter, modify the payer's code to make it working with different flv players, add user comments field and so on). Also one may want to make it parse some non-standard XML feeds or dumps.
But everything is impossible because the script is encoded.
What if I will provide a script customization service Nubiles Tube? This will be done by means of my own code which will work as overlays and mediators. It means that no single bite of the original Nubiles code will be unencrypted and/or modified. I do respect the copyrights so I never been hacking the original code and never will do. Everything that I suggest can be done w/o touching the contents of Nubiles code.
So here is my question, can I provide such a service w/o infringement Nubiles Tubeterms of use?
Will be nice if someone from Nubiles team will answer to my question.
