Actually people seem to do share adult sites on FB and twitter. Hence more and more sites using the AddThis.com features. Not sure if not against their TOS, though.

The +1 button seems to require that you use the Google canonical link-rel in the header, which means it's probably gonna kill indexing on any sub-pages that may all be built the same but feature dynamic/variable content - such as a model directory, or a tgp, etc....

It's a trap - it's going to speed up google results but not help sites with deep content.
