    Quick php question

    I need to post data to a form but I don't want to use sockets. Is there another way maybe with 'header'.

    I could not find anything on this anywhere, I'm starting to think it's not possible.

      Yeah, I agree that it's a very good library but I don't want people to recompile php to support curl if they don't have it. I've been looking all over for a solution, but I've had no luck yet ;-)

        Ahh! Why didn't ya say so!

        The only way I can think of is sockets, which as you no doubt know, kinda suck in PHP4. PHP5 has a way better socket implementation, but thats no good to you now :P

          I can't think of any other way than sockets. Even if they implemented a pre-defined function for it, it would still use sockets in the background.

          But it's not really straight forward to send a POST header with socket.
