Fresh website Low CPM

Hello there,

We launched bornstar.co last week, and we’d be happy to hear your views or remarks on it.

We’ve had good traction so far, with 2.3M page views over the last 7 days. We registered with ExoClick and ran with them for 24 hours at a good $2 CPM, but they banned us without explanation while we had $2k in the account..

So we switched to another ad network that is currently paying a $0.30 CPM. This feels extremely low to us, especially compared to ExoClick. Our traffic is 60% US and 90% Tier 1, with a bounce rate of around 35%, so we feel our numbers should give us access to something better.

We’re looking for advice from more experienced people here. What’s your view? Are we currently being lowballed? Is this normal because we don’t have a track record yet?

Is the traffic from SEO or something else, like direct traffic? I am assuming it's not SEO since the site is only a week old?
