Tube Script Questions

I'm looking into a Tube site project (not adult) and hope to read some quick reviews or comments on various scripts.

Specifically - I'm looking for a script that is good at handling "partner" accounts or maybe they should be "contributor" accounts. Much like YouTube, where contributors share in the advertising revenue for ads displayed within videos they contribute.

Visiting a few Tube script sites (sellers) they just don't seem to provide much detail on that specific feature.

Advice?

I have found nothing like this with a few hours of searching and forum posts.
There are a few that allow people to upload, nothing mentioned about revenue share.

Many of the Tube Script providers are lacking in support. Most respond quickly the first time and a few the second time. Request information a 3rd or 4th time, expect them to stop responding.

Most are in for the quick sale.


I have not completely reviewed this site.

I heard back from Konrad at MechBunny about this and his reply was:

"The script does not have any revenue sharing functionality like that. That being said, for something like that to work you'd need to run your own adserver in order to track individual ad-views and ad-clicks on a per uploader basis."

He makes a good point and I must say I appreciate how quickly he answer my questions. Seems like a good team there.

Most are good with the first and second responses, then it seems to fall off.

i can advice smart tube pro

its adult but you can also convert it to non adult, and they have way more options than just tube, no rev share option only like what you want, but still a good script.

and their support is great, they always take time to respond and find a solution to what your needs are, with that you have a free version and a paid version and the script itself has tons of options and features

Seems like an okay script, however after about an hour of installation and then reading the support forum.
Internal server error.
This seems to be the only place for support.

Reading the most current forum posts can give you an idea of the current status of the script. (Take into account the average person that posts into a forum is a 'moroon'! [To quote Buggs Bunny!]

Two servers I have tested today,
Both failed.
Looks like you will need to drop a dime on a server or server administration before you can test STP 1.20.
Bepe does seem to reply often the same day, to forum posts.

I took a big leap and purchased mechbunny.
The learning curve is larger than I had hoped.
The functionality is there, once you learn how to use it.

Support has been awesome, to date. Quick answers with either solutions or suggestions.
More automation will be available in the next update to speed up creation of adult sites.
The hosting company advertised on mechbunny. com is also very good with above average support.
I like to contact support after searching the knowledge base and documentation, so both hosting and mechbunny support are contacted often.

disclaimer: I am not checking my notes to verify the accuracy of this statement.

It is my understanding that wp-script does not meet the requirement of sponsors to use the free content.
Meaning you can not assign the required links and promotions to be present with the content.
Most free content providers require that you advertise THEM on all locations where their content is located.
I might be wrong, if so please explain in detail.
I have asked support on many scripts and wordpress plugins about this issue. Either they say it is coming in future updates ( which have yet to come.)
or they just don't reply at all.

You may think you are building a great site with many of these scripts.
Be warned you could be a click away from a content provider banning you from their program.
