CMS for membership site

I'm thinking of developing another paid membership site but am not up to the task of making all the code from scratch again. What existing CMS do you guys use or recommend for this purpose? Is Wordpress an option? What plugins is commonly used for membership/payment?

Budget is ofcourse of the essence, any CMS asking for a huge amount of monthly $$$ is out of the question.

I would recommend using wordpress, there are lots of different membership plugin ins like Digital Access Pass, Amember, member mouse, S2Member and plenty more wordpress plugins.

mechbunny will also provide custom coding, and give support. so if you have traffic to send to its worth the money at all.

Membership site is different from a tube site.

I use Wordpress for all my membership sites now. There is much better options but I don't do much with mine so Wordpress is fine. If you want to go big, there is some high end solutions here that kick ass.

I've used 3 of them so far. Sitedepth, ElevatedX, and StagCMS. Sitedepth doesn't exist anymore. ElevatedX and StagCMS are both great options and have worked well for me. ElevatedX is a bit more advanced and StagCMS is a bit easier to use/cheaper. Gus, the owner of Stag is a great guy that I've worked with in the past and have had a positive experience with as well if that means anything. Let me know if you have any questions.

I would go with ElevatedX, and when you are ready for the platform to manage the paysites affiliates, processing etc, please take a look at the industry leading software NATS.

We have two wonderful options for you:

AdultCentro Publisher if you are interested in creating an adult paysite with billing included.
