Commercial ?

We are having a commercial created for our mainstream site to be played in our booth when we go to conventions and such.

So far this is what we have, I am wondering what everybody thinks.

hmmm there are some good elements like some of the effects, but overall, I think it fails at some of the advertising principles.

For example, the song is catchy, but the video is not, I did have to make an effort to actually know what it was about. I also think there is too much text, people are generally lazy for reading, so odds are that they won't pay much attention to it. It also fails at engaging the viewer, remember that in advertising you only have 1-2 seconds to get the viewer's attention, if you don't get it then they will just move on to something else.

Also, the video is too long for so little change (grayish colors for 1:48 will not be very fun for the viewer).

The ending is good, for the positives, but needs something more 'entertaining' first.

I hope this helps, sorry if sounded too negative, but tried to be honest and help you as much as possible.

The production values are good and the message is there. If you are just planning on playing it in a loop behind your booth at shows, then I don't see any issues - you will need the text as no one will hear the audio in that environment anyway. If it was a commercial for television or YouTube I would have a different opinion, but for what you suggest I like it.

Thank you both for your comments. So far the only plans are to having it running in our booth not TV. The idea about all the text is for those people who come to our booth is so they can get an little better of an idea as to what we do if they have to wait a moment or two before me or one of my staff can get to them to speak.

Nice video,but could have been made shorter.

I suggest you to include shorter format.

Also upload it in you tube and daily motion, it will bring nice amount of traffic to your website.
