So I'm checking out TheEuropeanSummit and I'm putting a list together on things to do near the show hotel.


Are there any places/restaurants/sights that I MUST see/eat at? I'm a Prague virgin and I don't want to miss out on anything when I get there. Post pics if you got them, I'm a very visual person. I also have a tendency to eat my way through a city I'm staying in.

Prague is a perfect beautiful city, there is plenty of half hidden spots you should explore, tons of smaller beer-spots in historic locations - and the Czech beer is the best in the world in case youre not aware of it Not mentioning the sightseeings all over the city, its a real gem in the heart of Europe IMO. I think I should visit this convention too

I found out that the best and cheapest way for a one way ticket Amsterdam Prague is www.easyjet.com One way ticket Amsterdam - Prague on Monday september 19 or Tuesday september 20, leaving 19:05 is max 70 euro with two bags. You better book, normally the prices go up.

Two way ticket can be booked by several other airlines for 100 - 140 euro.

The Czechs pretty much invented beer!!!!! Well Pilsner larger they invented for sure. Avoid the tasteless mass produced crap (Staropramen, Gambrinus, Braník) and go either for the tasty mass produced crap (Budvar, Pilsner Urquell) or better yet find a bar that serves unpasteurized "Tankové pivo". Also, a beer called Svijany has started popping up in various places about the city, if you get the chance get a few of those in you will find it to be one of the most tasty pints available.
