The last time I bragged about my income to someone, my income crashed to half within 30 days. Call it coincidence or call it the Evil Eye syndrome... but there's definitely something to be said to keeping things on the DL.
I do understand what you are saying

for example

I could be making 1000$ a day working 10 hours a day

or I can do some outsourcing myself and make 700$ with the other person doing my grunt work

in the 2nd case, I would consider myself to be in a better situation!

I have also learned to be a little more modest than I used to be...
