Here are a few comments....
1) If you've been developing this project for 7-8 years, that goes back to when startups were booming and 'ideas' were making tons of investor cash. Why wouldn't you have tried to get someone to buy your idea or invest back then and be rich now ?
2) If your software truly works as you claim, as others above me said, you would not need to care about trying to sell/lease it. Simply keep snatching up domains and using it.
