Someone did
back at a convention in 2000 at one of the seminars about trandemarks and shit like that (legal seminar) someone said he owned " homodepot" and the attorneys nearly feel over laughing....
apparently homedepot asked for their name and i bet he gave it up as fast as he could.
In addition to trying to benfit from their fame it is also a variaton of the name that could be considered a typo and a gay site didn't help with the "tarnish their image" clause either.
