type in traffic that comes to a domain from surfers who were looking for another popular site is not nearly as valuable as type in traffic that comes to a generic keyword domain.
for example: bigbutts.com could be getting 500 type ins per day (maybe i'm wrong, i'm a noob in domains) and pic-hunters.com could be getting the same.
first, pichunter.com is a tgp and thus the traffic is shit compared to general keyword targeted traffic.
second, if pichunter closes in 5 years for some reason, the traffic will stop, while people will never stop looking for big butts.
I would prefer to own bigbutts.com then pic-hunters.com for example if i knew they were getting the same typein traffic
