New post at my blog... here's the skinny:

Recent comments from David Stodghill raise eyebrows
As far as aliases, I have 1 real legal alias. I have never used it anywhere on the internet, it is the one on my drivers license, its the name my kids know me as, its what my wife calls me, what you see on the internet is what I created to be known on the internet.
-David Stodghill

Why exactly would someone need a legal alias? While its been very well established that you can't trust what David Stodghill writes, the above comment is very interesting for one of two reasons.

1. It either proves that he's a liar or...

2. He has the need for a legal alias.

I'm sure there are many legitimate reasons for obtaining a legal alias, but... no, not really. As a matter fact I don't think there's such a thing as a "legal alias" - you can legally change your name, but nobody is allowed to have multiple "identities", as Stodghill implies.

Which isn't to say he hasn't changed his name, or that its unusual. People on Federal Witness Protection programs do it, actors do it, people registered in sex crime registries will often do it.

Stodghill made some additional comments recently that I'd also like to point out:

I have a life, I have a happy life, I like my life, I love my kids and my wife.

What does this mean? Simply, he likes his happy life. Even though, according to his Adult Friend Finder profile, as posted by Turboface, says: I'm married now, but its going rough, shes been cheating on me for years Ive been told.

More:

But just so you know, That is not me on eBay, I do not have an eBay account, I dont use eBay, it is full of bullshit auctions.

Coincidentally, someone named "gigent", a popular Stodghill pseudonum, is shilling the auction right now, possibly running afoul of several Federal fraud laws.

I do not know the person on eBay, I was told to transfer the domain, I cannot control the whois, but you can see the name servers are NOT mine.

Coincidentally, seller clairetheloon is based out of New Orleans. While Stodghill is based out of Monroe, NC, we know he has spent some time recently in the Big Easy.

If that was me and I had made $10,000 of off that site do you think Id be sitting here talking shit to you guys.

Actually, mere hours after the domain supposedly sold for $10,000, it was relisted... this time without the buy-it-now price.

Again, maybe this guy just attracts weird coincidences to situations others might suspect as being fraudulent.

Heck, that was the Scott Petersen defense.
