Varies from country to country, and often varies within countries.

In Canada, minimum wage ranges from a low of $5.90/hr (alberta) to $8.50/hr (nunavut). The median is around $7/hr. Minimum wage in canada tends to go up periodically to track inflation (along with other things, including base tax exemptions).

In the US, best source I can find says federally mandated minimum wage is $5.15/hr... the page also points out that $5.15/hr in today's dollars is the lowest wage in real dollars since the end of world war 2 due to steady erosion of USD purchasing power and inflation.

Others I don't know about. Should be easy to find via google.
