I can verify that Ted is no longer in control of the company.
We've done a lot of work for them over the past 6 months and within the last month or 2 we were told that we would be dealing with someone else from now on as Ted was stepping down.
He's been nothing but good to us. I wish him the best.
I wish nothing but the best for his cats as well!

If it was a public company with 5 divisions and hundreds of employees that change would be important.. but for a small company that doesnt mean anything..Comment

And on the lines of the 15 mins away. It was understood in your job descripttion you were oncall and you were given the appropiate resources to do your job. It's not my fault that you couldn't do it, I mean didn't you have the a NOKIA 9000 phone a laptop and also a nextel and a pda all at the companies expense, and internet accounts to get you online for paying customers. It's not my fault you couldn't perform your job so that I had to ask you not to go more than 15 minutes away. Please, people. I don't know all the specifics of the interpersonal relationships behind this bickering. I just got back from Webmaster Access though and Ted is in way better shape than most gfyers. It is not like he microwaved any cute furry critters and calling someone fat here is just silly. Give the man a break.Comment

We are not down sizing.
Ted does not run the company; he does work for the company. Pro Hosters, LLC is not owned by one single owner.
As to Ted being the owner. Ted is one of the owners of Pro Hosters, LLC. The company does of course have a board of directors also and Ted does have a place there. Yes Pro Hosters is a company and so it operates like one. Ted being a large stock holder and the founder of Pro Hosters will always be around. Somone said he wants more time. Ted works more hours now than ever but he is doing what he likes to do, coding and selling hosting, working with the customers is what he enjoys the most.
Pro Hosters has been a solid company for years and it will only be growing as it has been. I don't see the company getting smaller when I see the racks filling up and our space requirements changing all the time. The course of the company is to grow and continue to provide solid hosting and great tech support.
I fail to see what is so hard to understand. He stepped down from running the company. There is a lot more to running a company than selling hosting.DanL
