    Who owns an AK-47?

    I got put on hold today, the fucking feds need to take their time with me before they let me buy, the bastards! First time I ever got stuck with the waiting period when trying to buy a gun.

    So if you own an AK-47 what model and country do you own?

      I own one. Its Romanian made, and I've swapped out a few parts. Put a new stock and handguard on, as well as a scope and a bipod.

      I live in washington, there was no waiting period to get the gun - literally walked in and walked out with it, hah.

              I do believe there's a waiting period in every state, all 50. However it's random and doesn't always affect everyone, I'm in Texas and the previous 4 guns I've bought I never had to wait, just filled out the paperwork a quick call and I was good to go. But today I was told I would have to wait this ttime. That's nice, I was looking a Romanian myself and going to put a synthetic stock on it. But I was real tempted but a Russian imported by Robinson Arms.

                  Move to Arizona. They have the best gun laws in the states.

                                                  Romanian AK's run from $250 to $400 depending on the model type and whether it takes hi capacity mags or not and stuff like that. But not $4000. Hell if I had a friend in the military I could have him bring me back one from Iraq for like $30.

                                                          the romanian ones are cheap but pretty good quality... you can actually get them for less than 300 if you look around... of course its not full auto but i doubt youd qualify for a class III liscense

                                                                                          You cant get a full auto anywhere in the U.S. anymore, unless its a pre-ban gun or you have a class III liscence. Mine is only semi-auto. I've heard the conversion to full auto is pretty easy, but I want to keep mine legal.
