I don't know all the particulars between gothweb and cyberpunk but I can say this...
Having known cyberpunk for about 4-5 years now, I've NEVER seen him rip off anyone. If anyone knows of a situation where he has please feel free to inform me...I'd find it easier to believe the Star or Enquirer than that...

We will see. Before this, I didn't think of his as dishonest in the slightest. This has obviously soured me on him some, though.
I'd rather work things out than keep fighting. The main reason I have been confrontational at all is that its my whole income, and I can't afford to wait as long between messages as he takes.
Hopefully, he will keep communicating, and we can work something out. I know I'm not going to get the three grand I think I should be. I can accept that, at this point. So maybe we can keep working on it, and come up with something we can both live with.

Sorry to have been absent during all of the fun of this thread...
I've been dealing with some personal issues and the loss of a good friend to the evils of drug addiction.
Ian, you promised to call me back this past week and didn't. You know I've only been online a little the last few days. It's not that I'm washing my hands of it, it's where I am positioned LEGALLY in all of this. If not for my "good cop" shit, your stuff would have disappeared a long time ago.
Fletch, I care very much about what our affiliates and Ian's affiliates are going through with this. Other than our affiliates, I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks.
The reason for bringing in Zoe (who is FAR more than just a board personality) and even the merger with Ian were to strengthen our program and free me up to keep developing new shit instead of fucking around with sorting content, building banners, etc.
To say the merger was a collossal failure of communications and a series of fuckups is very obvious and probably wasn't something that should have been pursued anyways since I always prefer homegrown sites/programs as they don't come with any drama, baggage, surprises, etc.
I truly hope we can work through this and wish the best for Ian and his sites and his future. If this whole drama means we lose a few potential affiliates, so be it. I'm more conerned about those who are already supporting us and am sure Ian feels the same way.
Chloei, CCBill has been re-faxed (AGAIN) and everything should be taken care of tomorrow. I'll call you Tuesday and ensure everything has been restored smoothely.
I'll be back online full time Tuesday for anyone else who is concerned about darkdollars or blood money, as well as those who've lit up my email box about beta testing the new proggie.Comment

nope nope - i just called ccbill today just now actually - they have not gotten a fax from him, or anybody in the company for a change of ownership form, this is not the 4th time in a row i've asked for this to be done, someone said "oh shit yah i will do it" or "it was faxed dont worry" and indeed it was not

i have no clue what to think - i mean i was worried and then skyboy started getting a hold of me and told me to calm down that he would make sure cyber pushed the stuff back over - so i thought i was ok - then it never went over and i freaked out again, only i read that cyber said he did it last night and i could confirm today - so i thought i was "ok" again only now not so much with that i mean geeze people
trying to stay calm, trying to remember that shit happens and as long as it is pushed back though or something happens it will be ok - mistakes happen it's how you clean it up - that's what matters

Right now, my sites on cyberpunk's hosting are redirected, and once they are on my server, the ccbill stuff won't be set-up right since I had to finish the file transfer myself and didn't have those files on my hard drive. So basically, I am screwed.

Yup, I believe The Big U was initially issued before Zodiac. Then, when the author became a name, it was reissued as a trade paperback. The book is okay if it interests you to examine to evolution of the man's writing style, but it ain't exactly Snow Crash or Diamond Age. The Big U is sort of a frat boy Ayn Rand. I saw the charges to members are $19.xx ( 1 month ) and $59.xx ( 3 month ), and spookycash says it pays $10 and $30 per signup. Thats about 50% of the initial charge if my assumption is right.
If a member renews, do we get credit for rebills too, or is it a 1 time payout ?

Yeah, when we launched GothicSluts.com we started off paying four bones. Coming from a magazine background, that seemed like a lot to me then. As I've gotten more into the web side of things, I just came to the conclusion that a higher payout would make sense now. I'm involved in launching a new magazine called Swag and I definitely won't have the same time to promote the sites I did before. Personally, I am more inclined to promote programs which state dollar amounts than percentages. I know that there are certain sites which will claim to pay x percentage, but what they do not tell you is that they figure that % after they take out the billing processing fees and that almost nobody ever renews after their couple o' dollar trial period. I'm always open to suggestions and special partner content for special needs sites etc. You all are actually getting a preview of the SpookyCash.com site now. It is in the process of launching this week.
