I can go get the new Snoop there for 6.99 (promo). Any cd you want, all alphabetized, all used, all cheap, no cds over 7.99 unless its a double disc.
Way it works, Virgin Records, Tower Records, employees get the promos and sell them to the USED CD stores when they get off work. Or guys like yoiu and me go in and sell our cds to them for a few bucks.
I think those small operations going on across the globe do way more damage to the record industry, but they focus on mp3s.
Although Amoeba and Second Spin, both have online presences, fact is their Physical Locations are just up the road and I can go get any cd I need, used. 100,000 plus vinyl, cd, tapes, dvd, etc...
Hell I feel like such a criminal for buying music nowadays.
