Business adapt or die

recent client interaction had me shaking my head all night. they wont consider a money and time saving solution because they spent 2 years investing in a bad solution.

i have news for anyone listening: a paysite, tube site, blog, and even a tgp is a tech business. if you aren't constantly adapting in a tech business, i hope you have a backup plan or a rich spouse.

now i have to get back to editing crap junior code from India

Blunt, but true. My greatest fear in this business is ending up like one of the old VHS sales people or porn directors who refused to change and could not understand how to make a living after everything went internet.

My partner Sherry and I would have repeated fights about the direction of the business. While video continued, there was no growth left. Meanwhile, novelty went huge, but she really didn't have an interest in the pleasure products business.

Won't be surprised if in the next 10 years, I'll be writing press releases for telepathic porn that transmits directly into the brain.

Yes people have tendency to stick with bad solutions no matter what kind of proof you throw at them. Its' like they are afraid how testing something new will cause a problem.

well i always get a smaller script made to see the quality. i have about 100 or so small scripts to do things. ex. i have one that injects random keywords in my titles of my data a prefix or suffix

im not sure that is the case if the pages won't load and content won't play. i guess they can email the videos to members.

this one indian guy made me a script. it was one fucking file! i could add as many twitter accounts as i wanted! it submitted from rss feeds. i would build feeds with like were 5mb = 5k post or so. it used curl no api needed. 30 bucks i paid. one of the best programmers i have met. homersimpson is damn good as well. he's serbian though

i think technology and content are sharing the throne.

there are millions of porn sites with great content - even exclusive great content - but earn under $10k a month. you need some technologists to turn content into money.

What is PH insights ?.... and popular ( adult) content is finicky. Using a Google popularity searches ( that is all I know) it usually show : lesbians, bondage etc. ( pretty stable), mommy porn and the like ( flavor of the month) etc.... BUT there is a lesbian porn and then there is a lesbian porn.

I agree that marketing is needed to promote any content.

That could be risky, unless you blacklist certain terms.
