I believe as others have said... this will blow over eventually, and MindGeek be processing V / MC again soon enough. The CC companies are prisoners to regulators too. So everyone has to make flamboyant, public demonstrations showing their outrage - and how much they care - and how much they're doing to save face with the various political fire breathers.
The bigger (longer-lasting) issue is that companies with the reach and resources of MindGeek won't sit idly hoping, praying they get their CC accounts turned back on. Love 'em or hate 'em, they'll find a way to continue.

I expect a variety of bold, industry-wide campaigns educating users about the relative ease, features, and privacy of crypto payments. Then all the countless cucks who are afraid to use a credit card... they can get in the game too.
