I remember the story, I believe it's true, it is unfortunate and a wall would have probably not made the slightest difference.
Going hard after people that employ illegals - or enable them by giving them fake papers - that would make a difference. Most illegals won't come illegally if there was no chance of getting a job.
But when even the "president" has a history of his companies hiring illegals - what do we expect to change on that part?
