The Hudson on 58th between 8th and 9th. The W on 39th and Lexington and The W Tuscany next door that has another bar in it called Cherry. The W Times square is also cool. The Soho Grand on West Broadway 1 block above Canal has a great bar/ restaurant. That should be good enough.
