True story.

About 10 years ago a buddy of mine gets setup with a woman through someone he worked with. She was the friend of the guy he worked with's wife.

He talks to her on the phone a couple of times and they go out to dinner. At dinner she tells him that her last relationship didn't work out because the guy was in jail. My buddy asks her what he did and she said he was in for attempted murder and robbery. He then says to her something along the lines of "it must have been crazy having someone you are dating get arrested for charges like that." She then admitted that she actually met him while he was in jail. She had seen his picture in the paper, thought he looked like he was misunderstood and and so she wrote him and dated him for 2 years while he was in jail until finally, as she put, all the drama her friends gave her about it, ended it.

He said after dinner he dropped her off at her place and hauled ass out there.
