This is what I don't understand. Why a honest job is something bad? I mean, if it wasn't Chris (Version whatever) it would have been someone else. It WILL be someone else. Yes, the company hurts the business. Yes, they're causing trouble. and YES, EVERY SINGLE BRO IN THIS BOARD IS JUMPING ON THE TRAIN. Even worse, many of them are telling how opposed they are and playing their cards on the background while all the naive people takes a honest stand.

I mean, it's not like we have seen this 1 or 2 or 3 times. Anyone with at least 5 years in business have seen this happening no less than 100 times. Didn't we learn anything? Really? Bottom line is that I don't care and I didn't care about Chris relation to ICM. I know Chris because I buy lots traffic for my cam sites (easier then large affiliate programs made of lots dramatic mini-webmasters) and Chris was there at trafficshop. I wanted to buy in any case, w hoever was there at sales, but one day their software went nuts and billed or delivered wrong. Chris solved all in elegant way and customer not lost, there is also matter of mood and wrong sales rep can fuck up worth million dollar future sales, you know - it is even matter the wrong word or delay 5 minutes more.

Except this single case, Chris was always there and answering while 90% of adult biz people are so lazy, offline and delayed more then who does things for hobby. In adult biz there are super unavailable guys who think they are too cool to care to anyone (and this is why some sites are doing bad, not because of Manwin really), Chris seems not affected of such pathology yet. Note that answering to GFY posts quickly does not make a webmaster efficient, it is the opposite, delay in real biz is often because lost lots of time in read and write BS here.

BUT! If he knows well this biz he had to forecast that joining XXX/ICM (in this moment) it was too risky for reputation or just friendliness that it is foundamental for a sales person of service used by many. I would stop with this. Most of the people you are trying to repair things with hate them and don't want to hear about them in general. I started reading these threads a little bit before this all happened and from my view you just broke a lot of peoples trust in you. People bought a shitload of traffic from you and over time were led to believe you were a friend or cared about them and their sites etc. It happens to me a lot at my mainstream job, i start to feel of my boss like hes one of the family but then work gets slow during the summer and i either get forced into part time or temporarily laid off.

Anyway, you go to and start working for what most here refer to as the enemy and pretty much betray them in their eyes. You then try to ban a fellow gfyer for mentioning it and pretty much tell people fuck your views and beliefs on this, your friendships didn't mean squat, i could care less about your financial futures i just care about my own. I'm not saying you shouldn't have taken the job just that you should expect people to be pissed off and hurt because of how you handled everything.

Trying to ban that one guy kind of showed people you don't give a fuck about them, or at least led them to believe that in my opinion.

I don't love or hate ya as i have never done business or really spoken with you, just sharing the way i saw this unfold as it seems you may not understand why people are so angry.

I've never done business with Chris but have come across a lot of "Chris's" in both this Industry and the Music Industry. LOL To me, I would label Chris a "functioning bullshitter". He gets the job done, he functions, but he's flying on something (drugs? ego? mental disorder?) that propels him to say and do things that are, well, unstable and untrustworthy.

As I said, I haven't done business with Chris (or Trafficshop) but after reading this thread (and others) I would probably stay away from Chris (while doing business with Trafficshop). LOL No offense man but when this many people say they have a problem with you while others defend your work skills that tells me you may be someone who can get 'r done but someone who may not be worth the hassles.

Unless I'm missing something. The other thing I would add is it seems that some people want to help Chris, or watch out for him, and this tells me the guy isn't 100% evil just needs some focus and direction (like a lot of us). Again, unless I'm missing something here.

I agree Vjo, I was fucked when i lost the avn gig... I never expected it to go away... but ad revenues sank, revenues sank, we layed off 70% of staff and cut down from 5 mags to one. On top of that tradeshow sales were tanking... avn was in every declining biz model that ws hit the hardest - its a miracle they survived...

M ylifestyle and bills were at 200K , and suddenly i was on unemployment...

I will NEVER make that mistake again... I downsized my car, sold my house, etc etc....

Good move man. It is tough for a young guy to do. I know I was young once. I pissed away a larger % of my money (prob not as many $$ as you all ) than prob anyone and I do regret it.

In life you almost always have your ups and downs unless you are really well off. A lot of times you really dont appreciate what you have until it is gone. We ALL have to learn that lesson. Then when it is gone you suddenly learn an appreciation for the $$ but then it may be too late.

Get a $2000 mortgage if need be. Get a reasonable USED car. Only fools imo (or guys who can REALLY afford it) throw 40K+ away to car dealers. And after all that you still got $2000 to blow a month while you save 60K a year.

You literally will not be able to spend 5K a month in the midwest unless you really try.

Move to Utah or Montana or somewhere. (if you dont mind cold, the colder the cheaper) You will first of all have your choice of beautiful midwestern girls as you WILL be a baller on 1/4 the money there.

It is all about reprogramming yourself and getting in an area where you can live reasonable unless you really are a million $ earner which there are some on this baord I guess.
