Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Thanks V. I found a house in Tennessee last month as well to be closer to my parents. I will post up some pics later. It's a really nice place on 55 acres on the out skirts of Cookeville. With my dad going through his last heart surgery and my mom falling down the stairs and breaking her ankle last month it made that decision easy.
I have been traveling between NC and Tennessee and decided it was time to get a place near them as well to help out. I will still stay on the island during the summer but need to get closer to my family as they need me right now.Comment

Singular at the moment - a typical black and white mutt from a friend's litter.
My wife picked her (or rather the kitty picked us) after this fuzzy ball with legs fell out of the basket of newborn kitties, and proceeded to stagger over to us, looked up, and then puked at our feet.
We've been a family ever since (I know, heartwarming tale).
Suddenly I am in the mood for warm cocoa...

I have private access to the beach off the front of my house. It's just 200 yards away. I spends soo much time there. I start each day with a jog to get my mind ready for work. She's pre med in Washington state now, getting mostly "A's" but still surfering thru Chemistry. Just moved to a different apartment, had problems with the other. It goes from a few inches to 4-5 feet off the dock and changes with the tide daily. When a storm rolls in it will even come all the way up to the house and all around the dock.
We get lots of Drum, Popeye Mullets and Blue Crab off the dock. We have some nice crab pots we set out with raw chicken neck. I love blue crab. During the spring they collect sound oysters as well. I have never tried any but want to. We have some really nice kayaks that we take all around the sound. It’s relaxing and a great workout.

I love night fishing, under the lights off of a dock or pier. Usually you need to be in 4-5 feet of water or more, to get the fish to move in. It's nice and cool at night, nice change from the summer heat and being out in the sun. The bugs (moths, nats, etc) all flock to the lights, hit the lights and usually fall into the water. The minnows, shrimp and other bait will come up to the light and feed on them, it starts the whole food chain in action. Eventually the bigger fish will come in and eat everything, pop the water. Usually it will attract school trout, but i've fished under lights in an bay off the gulf in AL and caught several red fish. You should give it a try. Buy you a set of construction type lights if you don't have anything out there now, i'd wait till at least 11 ock before start trying to fish, so the lights can stay on for a while to get things going then give it a try.
Blue crabs are good. Catch the same ones down here.
So I chased the geese around my property and I finally got about 15- 20 feet away from them and took a couple decent pictures for you.

Ohh my god those little ones are adorable, super cute dudes. Hopefully they stay around your property so you can watch them grow and share more pics. Nothing makes me happier than watching the offspring. I go through over 50lbs of bird feed every 7 days here. The raccoons eat their share but it rocks to see all the babies around.
