I will just say this: many of you are acting like spoiled brats rather than grown ups. What DEA said may or may not be true. But truth is irrelevant. This board is a business, and if a top sponsor is attacked, no matter how you see it, nobody at GFY will like it. Even paying sponsors not related to the one in discussion will feel uncomfortable knowing they might be attacked by someone who won't give GFY (the business) a single dime.
Anyway, I respect the fact that DEA was in a crusade and I'm 100% sure he knew what would happen, this is his 3rd ban after all. I understand what you are saying, and I mentioned my reasoning in my last post. DEA has stated over and over again that he never lost a dime when epassporte closed. He did it because at one point he said epassporte was bad news because they did something to him, no one listened and he ended up being right. This is why he did it, to show people he was right, and he then just took it way overboard.
I do agree that we need more people who are telling it how it is here, other then some fake nicks that just bash people all day. I agree with you on that. But the way DEA started his rant way back when, was for his own agenda, to prove he was right. Not for other peoples benefit. This was my opinion. He was mocking everyone that didnt listen to him.Comment

You have a very good point. Pungent but nonetheless the truth--there's a chilling effect on the advertisers. But it does raise a question: what would be a good alternative solution to airing/resolving grievances? Is there an opportunity for a business forum like GFY with such an alternative exchange?
Maybe there should be a tightly moderated subforum that acts like a public "service ticket" for complaints but the sponsor can answer point for point and people can't keep repeating the same complaint over and over. This would prevent a herd/lynch mob mentality while (hopefully) resolving the matter in a calm, collected, mature way. What do you guys think?Comment

Look, there's plenty of people here who's threads I don't click on because I know damn well that the contents will be of no interest to me.
Besides, new people show up here all the time and, for them, DEA's posts are of at least some value.

Dea was not banned because he spoke the truth. He was banned for calling dollarmachine a scam. It is that simple. You cant say that shit without providing proof. Proof, not insinuations is whats required when making such claims.
What he should have done is word his post differently but still let everyone know that DM and epass are in bed together because like you said, and I totally agree with you, people need to know shit like what DEA revealed.Comment

I went back and read his post again and, maybe I'm missing something here but, I didn't see him say that dollarmachine was scamming anybody.
What I did see him say is that one of Mallick's top people will likely share in any profits dollarmachine makes by virtue of her marriage to the main man there and DEA did post what looks like proof of that marriage.
Now, to my way of thinking, that's hardly the same thing as claiming that dollarmachine is scamming it's affiliates or anybody else.
