Point is... everywhere has good and bad. And while there is PLENTY of total shit in countries like Thailand, and I could write books on the bad here, but there is a lot more good. If you only subject yourself to the bad and stay in the crowded tourist areas or poorest parts, then shit is all you will see see.

Back to flooding... a lot of Thailand is under water right now. Broken dams in the north east and a typhoon in the south. Some areas have as much as 2 meters.
