    Michael, why were we told that we'd know more by the end of the day, you said 10 hours, yet here we are the next day about 20hrs later, and still no more info?

    I know these resolutions take time, but we'd like to know more.

    I can't speak for everyone else here, but I myself do intend on continuing using ePassporte IF it's resolved, so, I'd like to know NOW if it's getting fixed, or if it's getting dissolved, because if it's the latter, then I need to seek alternatives and ePassporte's lack of communication is holding me up from making this decision.

        This was a thread YOU started. An "official" statement from Epassporte. One would think you'd follow this one. You werent too busy to follow up on an Anal Hobbit thread?

        I have a couple simple questions that shouldnt need to be deflected but I'm willing to bet they will be...

        1. Who wrote this "statement"? It wasnt Chris mallick "for" Epassporte. Did you write it and sign his name to it?
        2. You said wires are going out. This process appeared to of started on Friday according to your posts. However not one person has received one. It doesnt take 7 days to receive a wire once it has been initiated. Have any bank wires been SENT? Not initiated, not started, not processed. SENT?

No one would be speculating, harassing with calls as you say, etc, if they just told us more clearly what was going on more than "in motion funds" and that its "complicated" and they have "no idea why this happened".

                                                                                    People are rightly pissed off. Epass fucked up huge in handling this issue, especially knowing their clientele are routinely burned by sponsor programs for large sums, etc -- obviously they will be as paranoid with Epass.

                                                                                        Yes, it looks more and more like no one will get their money. I just checked - I sent a wire disburstment for the relatively small amount I had on my business account at the same day they blocked cards - it's still not processed. Like they never seen it. Since it was one of the first - I do not believe they did not have time to process it. Thus it seems the words of Michael that they are sending the wires are not true.

                                                                                        Still do not understand why ACH and external card transfers work ok.

                                                                                            Yes people want answers and have a right to them but they all want the same one.. When and how do they get their money.. Epass don't want this avalanche of people all cleaning out their accounts at the same time as that just isn't possible.. If it was done to a real bank, that bank would collapse instantly. They need a fool proof plan to minimise the damage and this takes time.

Not giving people a reason is going to give way and feed into wild speculation. Epassporte knows this, so one is left to wonder if the truth of the matter is so grave that the consequences of putting it into writing would cause wider spread panic and breach of trust than saying nothing at all.

                                                                                                                                    If what people are quoting visa as saying is true, the balance sheet showing deposited funds available in the bank in St. Kitts does not match the amount of electronic funds available in the virtual visa accounts, and by so much so that the bank alerted visa and that is what caused the clamp down. Putting it in writing and explaining to us that they may no longer have the funds available equal to the amount of our deposited and accrued account balances will surely cause a faster pull out reaction than rumor alone. I mean, if people think shit is bad now, imagine the reaction to seeing in print that our money is unaccounted for.
