    Wow domains have gotten cheap

I own quite a few non dot com's and have been getting mad spam by people trying to sell me the .com versions of my domains.

Prices have gone literally from $6,500.00 to $30. LOL!!

And I still don't want their shitty domains at that price. wah wah

One guy keeps emailing me and is practically begging me to buy a .com for like $20. Poor guy, I should just paypal him the money to go away and stop emailing me.

But I bet good domains are dropping like flies right now for those scooping them up. Fun.

lets see. so you own the .net or .org of a domain. But you wouldn't want the .com version of that "shitty" domain for $30 yet you own the .net or .org for $10.

See, if you were really a webmaster you'd understand that the worth in the domains is in the TRAFFIC. But don't let me explain anything to you that might help you succeed.

Is this something like a trading script running a CJ where there are no worries about branding at all? Otherwise don't you lose a certain percentage who type the .com by mistake?

You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore or fuck right off. I'll say what I want.

I just own waaaay too many domains to buy the .com version of them all and develop them. My adult stuff is on autopilot mostly and I'm doing other things these days. No time to brand them all unfortunately.

you right im not a webmaster. you guys have me beat on sales, experience, etc.

I go around building up traffic to .net and .org sites but then I am too cheap to buy the .com for $30 to protect any lost type in traffic.

I am also the one going around buying "shitty" dot net domains for $10 and develop them but wont buy the .com for that domain for $30

back to the main point of the topic, instead of the side-drama....

Yep, prices have fallen and now is the best time I've seen in a long time to start accumulating good names for a steal. I think I saw TitsTV.com being sold for $80 in the Buy/Sell forum.

TitsTV.com !!! Damn I must read that part of the forum more !

Price of domains depends on what someone wants to pay for them... someone just paid $350 Million for CreditCards.com so I guess that worked out pretty well lol

and why develop the .com as a different site? Just buy it and redirect it to your .net or whatever you have going on.

+ the more traffic to the .net or whatever the more type in traffic most likely id think?

                    Just a guess

I actually have bought a few .com's that I had other versions of the name. But a lot of the domains really aren't worth the .com version, like with hyphens, etc.

Anyone who works a lot of domains realized it is impossible to do every single thing you want to do with your sites. Such is business.

I wonder what the market will be like in another ten years. Two word .com's should be pretty nice if they are good terms.
