Remember .XXX tld?
Quote:
Dear ,
According to our records, you signed up to be included on our mailing list for updates on the new .XXX sponsored Top Level Domain.
As you are likely aware, we appealed ICANN?s March 2007 denial of our application to run the .XXX sTLD via its Independent Review Process. And, in an historic victory for the wider Internet community, we won our case. The Independent Review Panel declared that ICANN acted in violation of their own Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and international and California law in its rejection of ICM?s application. In light of this positive decision, the matter is now before ICANN again, and we are expecting to be able to begin actual registrations sometime later this year.
If you ARE a prospective member of our sponsored community with a view to registering in XXX you can click on this link to confirm your details and send a supportive comment and even pre-reserve some names via the "pre-reservation" link on the page if you haven't done so already.
If you are NOT a prospective registrant you can still express your support for the creation of this new domain by clicking on this link.
We understand that this has been an interminable wait for many of you, and we thank you for your continued interest.
ICANN?s announcement regarding the status of the ICM application can be found at:
http://www.icann.org/en/announcement...26mar10-en.htm.
As ever, please feel free to contact ICM Registry with any queries you may have. We thank you for your continued interest and will continue to provide timely updates as the process continues.
Should you wish to be removed from our mailing list please see the link below.
