I'm just talkin' by the way. I know there is some big explanation. But I'm almost sure it has to be from ice melting on land mass and then making it's way to the ocean as opposed to an iceberg floating on the ocean melting.

There is actually land under the ice in Antarctica, which is what qualifies it as a continent.
