Possible solution to the Dirty D vs Shoehorn dillema
I am in the fortunate position to know both. We only really talk at shows but still I know both are good guys. It really bothers me to see this conflict between two goodguys. They are hurting their own businesses and business in general.
Both are doing well financially and analysing the problem I highly doubt this is about money. This is all about principal and pimphand. Two good guys playing a game of poker not being able to back out. I think Shoehorn knows his sales were debatable. I think the hurt is in the fact that traffic was still accepted. I think Dirty D knows he failed not putting up a TOS. He probably feels he can not pay Shoehorn though cause he might feel he would open up a box of problems where other affiliates would try to find flaws in the system and get paid.
Shoehorn has tried to step in the direction of Dirty D by saying he only wants to get paid for the original sales. Dirty D has tried to step in the direction of Shoehorn by offering the alternative of getting paid 100$ a month per new sale.
Again this leads me to the conclusion it is not about money. I think Shoehorn strongly feels that Dirty D should pay. Dirty D feels he can not pay Shoehorn. This looks like a catch 22 but is not.
How about it if Dirty D pays the money to charity?
The webmaster toyrun would be a good cause in the spirit of christmas....
How about it guys...lets drop the pimpthing and both agree on doing something good for charity?
