Actually John, that is not entirely true. I won your contest. The money was mine. You kept MY money and it was suppose to be sent to webmaster toy run. I *trusted* you to make a prompt payment to get in for thiat year (2007) Even if you were late it still should have been sent. Keep in mind, if you would have paid out on your contest that was held in JULY back when the contest ended this wouldn't have been an issue. If i would have asked for payment you wouldn't have put me off for months you would have paid me.
You made the announcement that I won and I was donating the money on 12-13-07 . It takes 5 minutes to make the donation. I don't care if your finance guy was out of town or not. It's only $1500, you cant make that from your own personal account??? You can't call the finance guy and ask him to do it? What's the matter John you don't know your own business checking account info or they don't allow you access to a check book. Sorry the whole " the finance guy was out of town" bullshit might fly for a corperate 500 company, but not for an owner of NATS. No No, in John's world he did nothing wrong. He was simply " too busy" to make the donation. And then even if he wasn't "too busy" he couldn't have made the donation because the finance guy was out of town. No way money could be sent when the finance guy is out of town (the finance guy must lock up the paypal, epass, checks, checking account etc.. when he goes out of town.)
In John's world because I am asking for clarification here to make sure the donation was made 3 months later, that makes me an asshole. I am the asshole, John did nothing wrong.
John the amount of time you spent replying in this thread you could have made the donation. I am pretty sure they accept them year round.

If will didn't have a history of looking to stir shit with me and hadn't just done it a day earlier he wouldn't have gotten that response. I'm not here to kiss everyone's ass. If someone is an asshole I have no problem saying they're an asshole. I'm not going to pretend to love everyone on a message board. I'm sure that has cost TMM some clients but it has also gained some. I'm going to be honest about if I like them and honest if I don't. If it was someone else it would have been replied to different. My opinion of will stands as it was.

Yes, because I have no problem saying it wasn't sent and why. The problem I have is people coming here to look for attention instead of taking 30 seconds to just ask about it. He has my icq, he's icq'd me today actually, he could have simply asked me and he would have gotten the answer. He's just looking for more attention tho. Seems to be all he does.

John this has nothing to do with Will, what he has done and if you like him or not. No one cares if you like him or not. This also has nothing to do with you telling someone they are an asshole if you believe them to be one, there are a lot of assholes on this board, and others and it's just a part of life.
This has to do with being a man, and manning up to what you said you would do. YOU ran a contest, it's your obligation to pay the monies due. It has yet to be paid.
If I was a client of yours and did not pay for my NATS for 5 months because I was really busy and my money guy was "out of town" would my NATS still be running?
What makes it worse is you are here making a big issue and the money people are fighting over is to give kids who have nothing, some no mom or dad, some starving a present, something to make their life just a little better, maybe add some hope and show there are good people in this world.
The fact of the matter is simple, WILL won a content, the money from that contest is sitting in YOUR bank account and has yet to be paid.
There is no drama on WILL's part. He just wants what he won paid off. That is very fair to ask someone.
If someone who was not deemed an "asshole" in your book made this thread, say RonC or Eric at adult won that thread and it was not paid and they made this thread, would you be saying "it will get taken care of next year?"
