So people are out 24/7 during the summer, they never come inside? Sure people might go lay by the pool in the afternoon instead of bing inside if it was 40 degrees out, but what about night time? The other thing to this is the flip side, I hear a lot of people say it is soo hot out they don't want to go out they want to stay in the A/C.

First of all, not all college kids go "home" for the summer. The ones that do go home, wtf ? they go right back to their old room, you know the place they locked their door and looked at porn 24/7 when they were in highschool. Sorry don't follow the logic here.

Just because he goes to the beach fishing or whatever, when he gets home the first thing he is going to do is go log on the net to look at porn. Let's take smoking for example. The people who can't smoke at work, do they smoke less. No they smoke more on the way to work, they take a smoke break and inhale 3 cigs, they smoke on the way home, and they smoke more at home. At the end of the day the person who started a new job, that didn't allow him to smoke doesn't smoke less, he just packs in as much as he can when he can. Same thing applies with porn.

Nothing is more convenient then getting on your pc and looking at porn. The computer is right there, you are connected to the net, and it is open for business 24 hours a day.
Why don't you go dig up some stats on ONLINE gambling. I bet you that doesn't see a drop off in the summer because the kids are home or because more people are outside.

And btw I did not compare porn to B&M, what I said was that many industries outside of porn experience a summer slow down, so taking that into account why is it not possible that porn does?
My dad's business which was floor covering, experienced a Winter slow down...because houses were built in warmer months, people spend money on Holidays instead of house renovations etc.
But to get back online, mainstream, I've seen summer slow downs since '98 when I was running my ebay business.
My best period for sales wasn't even during the Holidays. It started about 3 weeks after Christmas, and went on until right around the end of May...why? Because people were stuck in front of their computers during the cold winter months.
Anyway, I said I was going swimming.
