                  Im curious how you all get sniped if you know what the max your willing to spend would be and you just enter that as your high bid?

                  Isnt that sort of emotional bidding when you go beyond the max you were willing to spend on an item in the first place?

                          I've always been leery of trying to buy things off of e-bay because of sniping.

                          What's to prevent the item owner (or friends of the owner) sniping at the end just to get you to up your bid as well?
