I don't know shit about him but I'll say that he's an idiot for not paying his taxes - assuming that these aren't small errors by bad accountants that he is getting crucified for. There is zero excuse.
If the guy is sloppy with his business affairs then he's also guilty of being greedy and staying in the business too long and not selling out sooner. Some people aren't cut out for operating that type of business and simply need to cash out at some point because they are incapable of the responsibility of dollars that large.
On a side note - if somehow along the road he just simply hasn't been a good person then I would say that perhaps karma has caught up with him. This makes for another good argument - the idea that for most people that make it quite this large that it's not just simply good luck or smarts, that they've had to do quite a few 'bad' things along the way to achieve massive success.
