I've seen very few sites where they actually have a good TEXT description of the site on the front page. Then there is the people who do a combination, all the good text that describes the site is in the design, but they have text for each scene.

I don't understand it. Can't be good for SE and it drives me nuts because I can't copy / paste a good 2 - 3 paragraph description.
