Why on earth would anyone in the porn industry make fun of someone for being a model? This makes no sense to me whatsoever.

I think the biggest thing you need to realize is the motivation and accomplishment of the person working in the adult industry. There are 2 different types of "content" (if you will). One just wants to take the easy way out, wants quick money, and will do anything and everything in front of that camera for a buck. The other works hard (i.e. learns the business and does everything themselves). You cant just lump everyone into the "bottom feeder" category.
