Today has been pretty eye opening for me, and I have to say it saddens me.

We all have heard the poem, The Night Before Christmas, and most of you can probably name at least some of the reindeer. Donner, Dancer, Prancer, Blitzen, Rudolph, etc.

What do these names have in common? They are all male names. No big deal, right?

Wrong.

Fact is, by December, most male reindeer have worn themselves out so much due to fighting, fucking and running around that by December, their antlers have simply fallen off.

Female reindeer retain their antlers in order to protect their young.

In reality, Santa's reindeer most likely were female as they have their antlers still, and have enough energy to actually fly around the world.

I hate to call Santa out on his special day, but it is 2006 and this blatant sexism has to come to an end.

Maybe the Boy Alley or will76 can make this their next crusade.
