Some people want to do "X" and they need school to do it. If you want to be a doctor then you need to go to college so you can get into medical school.
Not everyone is an entrepreneur.
Or even if you want to go for the sake of learning, that is great too if that is what you want to do. If your main goal is to make money then i think everyone should at least give it a shot, to do their own business. See how it goes. It definetly isn't for everyone though.
I know a couple career students. I think they are just scared to step into the real world more so then them going year after year for the sake of education.
