Program owners have a lot less to lose then affiliates, they get the sale at the end of the day, and they were already paying out on the sale, so not much different for them except for semantics.
We need to find new ways to secure our traffic flow, to make sure that the traffic is credited to the right parties.

Jact, it is unlikely that we will ever be able to stop all the toolbars and all the spyware companies out there. But we can put pressure on companies that are stupid enough to buy traffic from them, and in cases like bondage.com, take legal action to stop it from happening.
We can't control the toolbars, but we can make affiliate programs feel the pain, at least a bit.
