Why did Will come out against one person who seems to be his competition? Why did Will not check his own company for some of the largest Adware usage of a company? Why did will and others make a list of companies supporting adware when none of the companies were alerted of the accounts linked to adware to given a chance to remove them while Will is able to remove links all day long from Adware to ClickCash with it not being supportive of Zango?? Why? Why did Will, only just a few days ago, remove long standing links from Adware and is able to say he doesn't support adware when all along.... during the time if his bitching... adware links from Zango and MANY other adware companies have been making ClickCash money?
How come Will would rather build up ZangoCash.com and MetricsDirect.com then to actually combat something he thinks is hurting people? What's his motive? I would say VANITY! What you haven't noticed other (video and dating) sites joining in this discussion? Some have stayed silent. Some have declared opposition to scumware. Lars is the only spokesperson for a sponsor who has basically told affiliates they do not oppose scumware: so who else should we come out against?
More spin. iFriends and scumware were linked right at the beginning of the discussion on this issue. Will stated early on that he would be contacting them. The worst you can say is that iFriends needed to be alerted at all and that they could have reacted more quickly.
1. Why shouldn't professional sponsors be expected to police their own traffic?
2. If you accurately report on a given day that a sponsor is appearing in scumware popups, on that day the sponsor in question is - whether directly or indirectly - supporting scumware. How naive do you expect everyone to be: all these weeks later and still only a small proportion of sponsors have spoken up. Gamma, Platinum Bucks, Bang Bros, Nasty Dollars, SexSearch, etc., etc... just how long do you think they should have in which to respond?
So according to you we should all creep quietly away and handle this alone, leaving everyone else in the dark? For myself, I mailed the FTC the week after they reached a settlement with Zango; I am in the process of updating all my sites, removing sponsors who support scumware as I go and installing htaccess mods etc. But I'm damned if I'm going to keep quiet so long as the cowboys in this industry keep undermining it for their own short-term gain.
I don't care whether you are Lars or some other clown hiding behind a fake nickname. All that fools like you do, attempting to turn this into a Will vs Lars drama with a bunch of transparent BS, is keep the topic on the front page here. Is theft on any level whether it is 20% or .0001% acceptable?
Do you bid on url's of other companies?
Does Zango pop up a page or window over a site thus possibly taking away traffic from the original site?
Why do you use zango if it is such a small portion of your traffic and income?
Are you doing anything to stop zango and if so what?

The USA population just surpased 300 million. Zango clains to have 20 million active users. Not all of the 20 million is US users but most of them have to be since Zango only really pays on US installs. I am sure everyone installing it is targeting US traffic. Only about 200 million of the US population gets online (from shit i read).

I have been busy and have not had the time to check this thread for a couple more days. I hoped to find the answers that I was looking for, but instead I come back and find this shit.
Lets get one thing straight I could care less about any other company besides AFF/Cams right now. I said before that since they are #1 and have admitted to directly purchasing traffic from Zango that they must take the first hit. If AFF/Cams ever stop directly supporting zango I will congratulate them and move on to the next company that supports zango. This is not personal. I don't want to see any harm come to Lars or him to go broke. I just want AFF/Cams to stop using zango and other "scumware".
I am also aware that zango is not the only company out there that does this shit. I am of the opinion that zango should be dealt with first and when they stop taking money out of the pockets of hard working webmasters (and even the shady/dishonest webmasters too) then I will move on to the next company.
Someone (I won't mention any names) came into my thread (yes mine not Will's) and tried to start up the spin machine once again. I addressed that in the beginning of my original post. I said that people have turned this whole issue into a kindergarten argument and avoided the important questions. That is why I posted serious questions I would like answers to.
I still haven't got my questions answered. All I have gotten is silence from the people who I want to hear from, and bullshit spin from someone who should stay the fuck out of my thread.
Something to think about.....
Why will Aff/Cams/Lars not answer these questions? They are straight forward and serious.-

We all know the people you want answers from will not show up and post UNLESS it will help them to do so. Say Lars and crew found out that you sent traffic to sexsearch. THEN they would come here and post up a storm. They wouldn't be responding to your questions but they would be trying to smear you.
That is what they did with me. Over the last 2 months Lars has made a hand full of posts about zango. 1 was the "possition statement" which his lawyer wrote. Two or three times he made posts that insulted everyone else. He made about a dozen posts making excuses why they "had" to use zango. In the thread where he was trying to bash me, he posted more times then all of those others times over the previous 6 weeks combined. An all out assault from him and his employees responding to the zango issue by trying to attack me because they said clickcash was doing it. Now it's been a week, and they haven't posted at all.
