most people who install zango don't want it. so if they don't wan't and it is so easy to unistall how can zango make money? I'll take a wild guess here but do correct me if I am wrong they steal money from your aff accounts. You do all the work you pay the server costs you SHOULD get the profit not some multi-million $ shitty company.
I'm also a programmer and also know a thing or two that can go on with the programs when they are installed.
That link is from October 20, 2004. Zango does not deny that it used to practice shady business, but they state that their products are clean right now. I'm not trying to defend them, im looking at this objectively from the point of view of whether or not it can be uninstalled.
So far no one can provide concrete proof that zango is not removed by add/remove programs or that it has timer-activated installation of malicious software.

Btw, SpywareGuide lists Zango at danger level 1 on a 10 scale.

It also labels it as Adware, just like your ICQ, or RealMedia player, or ex-Kazaa.
