I have never done anything like this before and I never will, I have one week left to raise money to pay restitution to keep myself from going to jail. I wasn't arrested for anything like drugs or assault, I just made a bad decision on ebay and ended up getting served papers for theft by deception. I admit it was a stupid decision and I have worked my ass off trying to save money to fix this situation and to keep from ruining my life (if i get convicted its a class d felony on my record 6months-6years possible jail). I have never done something stupid like this before and you can bet I have learned my lesson. Ive had a month and a half to raise the money and so far I have 1,000 USD saved but i need 2,000 USD by the first week of April to get my charges dropped to a misdeminor and just pay the fines rather then getting a felony and serving possible jail time.
I know many of you have never even spoken to me, some of you have on icq and aim but a majority of the people on this site have no idea who I am. I am a 20 year old male from northern maine that frequents this site to try to gain knowledge to make alittle money to get out of the state of maine and on the road to a productive life. Aside from this one mistake I work very hard for my money I deliver furniture and appliances 40+ hours a week and work all the overtime I can to make alittle money to put into some of my internet ventures (well before the last few months when ive been saving.) I make 8 dollars an hour and to many it doesn't seem like much but it pays for my apartment and other living expenses but there isn't alot of spare money to be had. Luckily my mom is near to help by feeding me suppers or else I would be picking off the mcdonalds dollar menu a few times a week to get by. She is freaking out about this because she cant really help money wise but atlest she is here for me.
I understand not many have sympathy for beggers and I would not be doing this if I had other options, but its crunch time for me with only alittle over a week left.
If there is anyway you can afford donating even one dollar to help me out of this rough time it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe in a year or two ill find my way into the big bucks and can give back to the community as a way of saying thanks to everyone here that can spare a few dollars to help a strayed person back on the path.
