Each collection agency charges a percentage of the loan. The one I picked is 20%. IMO, if someone doesn't pay, I'm writing it off. I don't usually bid more than $50-100. I have a couple for $300-400 but nothing higher than that. It will be an interesting experience. I'm not putting more than I can say goodbye too. It's purely a gambling thing to me.
