We are currently in the process of HUGE overhaul of our by switching over to Elevated X and I had a few questions before making the big leap.

-How easy is actually getting started I have intermediate webdesign skills and absolutely no experience with php or smarty. Would it be wise to just go ahead a hire a temporary programmer.

-Is their anyway to implement an HTML5 video player (or is that a bad idea, I may be losing sales to customers with older browsers with my current html5 setup) Does their out of the box video player offer a CDN or does that have to be programed in.

-As far as SEO goes this will be our first dable into actually implementing rich SEO text into our sites. Does the standard set-up allow you to easily set up SEO or do I need to also hire a progammer for this as well.

-I will also be switching from Verotel to Zombaio has anyone ever done this switch with ease? Does zombaio go well with this platform?

-Any reliable programmers that specialize in Elevated X setup's that anyone can recommend? Working on a tight budget since we are just gaining momentum and stable conversions..

-I want to get started on artwork anyone know the exact dimensions for banners/backrounds and the resolution id like to keep things extremely crisp.. I have been searching their knowledge base nothing as of yet.

-Current users of Elevated X can you please share your site and also if your comforatable how much of an increase on conversions have you seen since deploying.

-Is their any simple layout for a corporate site of sorts.

-How easy is it to impliment the language chooser. (read in their knowlege base it may require difficult code work)

-Is the $350+ a month price tag (leased version w/ mobile site & multi-network pass+)

-Any alternatives with similiar features and ease of use?

-Would it be a cheaper solution to eventually have a full-time programmer create a custom set up?

-How reliable is their 2257 keeping platform.

-How is their VOD program may be switching some of my older content to that platform.

Answer:
It depends what you're looking to do. If you plan to make basic changes to the design you will not need a coder or a programmer. 80-90% of our customers do not have any code experience and do not employ programmers. Many of them use the CMS close to as it comes out of the box and make little design changes and tour changes to make it unique to their site or theme. If you email me and tell me what you have in mind I'll give you an honest assessment of the complexity and difficulty.

I will also be honest with you if I feel you are going to be in over your head with our software and will suggest better alternatives if I feel your level of experience is going to pose a problem.

2) Is their anyway to implement an HTML5 video player... Does their out of the box video player offer a CDN or does that have to be programed in.

Answer:
The HTML5 player is already implemented and works out of the box. This works in any HTML5 browser automatically, including the iPad. Users visiting your site on an iPad will see the player and the iPad friendly video file will play automatically.

Most of our customers are using streaming solutions such as Wowza although some do use a CDN but this is not a default part of the player. Email me and I'll get you more info on how the CDN setups tie into the CMS.

Answer:
Yes, the standard setup has SEO options in the admin panel to let you easily assign custom URLs, titles, meta keyword tags and descriptions to just about any page on your site so you or any non-technical staff member can optimize your model pages, video pages and more without editing a single line of code.

4) I will also be switching from Verotel to Zombaio has anyone ever done this switch with ease? Does zombaio go well with this platform?

Answer:
The CMS does not tie into your billing so you're welcome to use any billing company or affiliate platform you like. We have a number of users with Zombaio and it will work just fine.

Answer:
There are no size restrictions so you can size things differently if you choose. The easiest way to see how things are sized by default is view our demo area s at http://elevatedx.com/demo.php and right click on a graphic and view its properties to see the size. If you prefer, I can email you our images folders so you can open the images in Photoshop or send them to your designer to use as guides.

7) Current users of Elevated X can you please share your site and also if your comforatable how much of an increase on conversions have you seen since deploying.

Answer:
Not currently. All we offer as of now is the default adult site template set.

It's extremely easy to set this up and it is almost entirely plug-and-play. My support staff can assist you with setting up different language areas for your site as part of your free product support.

Answer:
Some of our haters, competitors and self-proclaimed experts may chime in and say otherwise but I'm confident in saying that you will not find a comparable solution that is as widely used and has had these features as widely tested over years of use as Elevated X has.

11) Would it be a cheaper solution to eventually have a full-time programmer create a custom set up?

Answer:
Not unless you can hire a full time programmer for $350 a month. The exception to this would be if you only wanted a very simple custom CMS in which case it will be cheaper to go custom. Even if you break this down annually it's a far stretch. The big thing to factor in is that the Elevated X CMS comes with free support and updates. If you go custom, it means paying someone each time there's a security issue and every time you have a problem or want something new added. In contrast, we offer tech support and add dozens of new features each year. We put out big fixes and security updates WEEKLY, release a new CMS version every 18-24 months and are making improvements constantly and all of this is FREE as part of your monthly fee.

12) How reliable is their 2257 keeping platform.

Answer:
It's reliable but we don't advertise the CMS as a "2257 Solution" so I don't advise any customer use this as their primary record keeping system. The CMS is great for storing records, keeping track of models, aliases, lists of all the URLs where a model's content appears, etc. but I would still keep hard copy backups and recommend using a dedicated server and/or a dedicated 2257 software for security and stability of such important personal data.

13) How is their VOD program may be switching some of my older content to that platform.

Answer:
The VOD setup is pretty standard. It allows you to sell tokens to let customers create an account and use tokens to buy videos for download, pay per view, online rental or pay per minute depending how you choose to setup your VOD sites.

If you plan to use VOD we support CCBill tokens. Other billers are only supported for token systems via NATS4 affiliate platform.
