I took a look at your site, and saw, that from the content point of view, it is a total wreck (sorry, no offense). Even the title of the index is not done well (I would even go as far as to say, that the title has not even been touched).

All the metadescriptions and titles of other pages are not only doubled but also a real mess.

My personal advice - before you start any SEO for this site, you should fix all those issues, otherwise links will have little or no effect, if the site is not optimized.

Neither Panda nor Penguin are messing around, so you should take the issue of unique content seriously.

you are sitting in the same boat and have the same problem - no unique content on your site. make ALL content unique 100% (I mean really all of it). Afterwards, we may give it a try with links and SEO. Hit me up when your site is good to go (but I believe I tried to contact you and you ignored my mails).

One more detail - do not overload the title. I'd say max it to 65 chars in total (whatever comes afterwards is cut off by google)
