Ousted Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod said Thursday she will sue a conservative blogger who posted a video edited in a way that made her appear racist.

"He had to know that he was targeting me," she said.

good, what that guy does is morally and ethically wrong and he should have to pay for it. I could understand if he was exposing opinions or practices that were clearly questionable. But he creates misinformation and flat out lies with anyone he disagrees with.

I wonder what legal theory the suit will be based on. Maybe defamation? If that's the case, maybe it all boils down to the editing of that video and whether that editing choice constitutes malice.
